Our olive oil has been recognised by the protected Designation of Origin (DO) “Oli de Mallorca”. This designation implies an official acknowledgment of a maximum quality virgin extra olive oil. The Protected Designation of Origin Council’s task is focused in protecting the oil produced in Mallorca, more specifically the typical local varieties: Picual, Arbequina and Empeltre.
From www.gestoli.cat, the Protected Designation of Origin Council carries out rigurous control tasks regarding the olive oils framed within the DO.
